Getting caught in an unforeseen downpour isn't that bad when you're packing the new Sierra Designs Tengu camping tent. This three-season camping tent is convenience at its best, featuring a unique external-pitch design that lets you pitch your fly first to get out of the rain, and worry about the body later. Not that you should worry, the Tengu camping tent boasts the Quick Pitch Swivel Hub, which has the tent’s main poles pre-threaded through the hub, so it’s up before you can say “What the?” The poles lock at their intersecting point to secure the frame for a sturdy shelter against the wind. The Tengu tent is built for two, offering a 32-sq.-ft. sleeping area, two doors for easy access, a roomy 22-sq.-ft. vestibule for all your gear, and an all-mesh body for ventilation. The Tengu camping tent retails for $260. Sierra Designs.
