New 2008 Kelty Backpacks
Kelty has been building reliable backpacks since 1952, and this coming spring will be no different with the release of a couple of fresh, new designs boasting “a blend of new materials, innovative ventilation, and unique suspension systems” with Kelty’s AeroFly technology.
At 2 lbs. 7 oz., the 1,650-cu.-in. Kelty Radii 27 backpack (pictured right) will boast Kelty’s AeroFly suspension system to keep you cool via its ventilated waist belt, shoulder straps and mesh back panel. The Radii 27 backpack will comfortably support loads weighing up to 30 pounds – perfect for your overnight backcountry excursions. The Radii 27 backpack will retail for $120.
The 2,500-cu.-in. Kelty Locus 40 backpack (pictured right) features a light frame, AeroFly suspension system and mesh back panel for ventilation, and an adjustable torso length. The Locus 40 backpack is top-loading for easy access, and is hydration-system-compatible. At 3 lbs. 5 oz., the Locus 40 backpack is available in men’s and women’s styles for a price of $150.
