What’s breathable, the size of an apple, water-resistant and wind-proof? It’s the Montane Featherlite Smock – the “original, ultra-lightweight, weather-resistant shirt.” The Featherlite Smock is such a convenient piece of camping gear, you shouldn’t leave home without it. The Featherlite Smock tucks into its own pocket for portability, and as the name suggests, while it’s not exactly “feather-light” it’s right up there at a mere 3.5 oz. This wind-breaker is made from Microlight Pertex, and features an “active cut” with a drop tail for easy wear. The elastic cuffs and hem help to keep the elements out. The Featherlite Smock is available in Mango, Graphite, Ivy, Red, Navy, Olive, Fluoro and is pictured in Electric, and retails for approximately $79. Montane.
