2008 SOG Trident Pocket Knife

Coming this spring, the new 2008 SOG Trident pocket knife puts a modern twist on an old outdoor necessity. The Trident knife utilizes SOG Assisted Technology - opposing high-tension coil springs - to bring the knife’s blade into its open position easily and single-handedly, keeping your other hand free to grip rope, branches, vines or anything else you’d need to tear through in the backcountry. When not in use, the Trident knife comes with a built-in safety to lock the blade in its closed position. The 3.78-inch blade, partially serrated, has undergone a cryogenic heat treatment process that increases its durability, strength and edge-retention. The knife also boasts Digi Grip – a pattern on the handle offering the user better grip. The Trident pocket knife will be available in May 2008 at a price of $120. SOG.
