New this spring, the 2008 Opsrey Kestrel 48 backcountry adventure backpack is a new lightweight pack designed specially for multi-day hiking and over-nighting. Touted as the “ultimate ‘go anywhere, do anything’ overnight pack,” the Kestrel 48 backpack offers a steel spring rod frame for comfortable wear, and comes in two torso sizes with an adjustable harness for a customized fit. For added comfort, this camping backpack features Osprey’s Airscape backpanel. Stretch lycra mesh pockets to the side and front offer plenty of organized storage. The Kestrel 48 backpack is hydration compatible, and keeping the water out where you don’t want it, it has a handy rain cover built in.
